Runners for Aaron complete the Belfast Marathon

Congratulations and thanks once again to all the runners that took part in relays or ran the full Belfast Marathon today to raise funds for Cardiac Risk in the Young.

John Lundy said today: "The support from the young people running the Marathon is greatly encouraging. I would like to thank each of them for their time and effort. It is wonderful that Aaron's friends continue to remember him in this way every year."

A team of runners including Garry McGrotty and George McAlpine also completed the London Marathon last month in aid of CRY.

CRY Northern Ireland

Aaron died in September 1999 as a result of Wolfe Parkinson White Syndrome.

Preventable heart conditions kill between four and eight 'fit and healthy' young people every week.

The family of Aaron hope this website will bring awareness to and prevent more young people dying from this curable condition.
